About the Program
This microcredential is a 3-course (9 credit hour) sequence that pairs Spanish literacy with cross-cultural and abnormal psychology for those focused on working in Mental Health fields. The emphasis is on delivering focused training in the linguistic and cultural nuances needed to provide tailored mental health services within Spanish-speaking communities.

Prerequisite: SPA 202 Intermediate Spanish II, or SPA 204 Professional Spanish II, or an approved equivalent. In addition, equivalency may also be granted based on a demonstration of appropriate equivalent proficiency.
