Stephanie Nardozzi earned her BA in Middle Childhood and Adolescent Mathematics Education from Niagara University and her MS in Mathematics Education from the University at Buffalo. Ms. Nardozzi has been teaching for nine years at Amherst Central High School in Amherst, NY where she has been has been recognized as Teacher of the Month twice. Ms. Nardozzi currently teaches Advanced Placement Calculus, College Precalculus and Regents Geometry and is a co-advisor of the Amherst Central Math Team. Ms. Nardozzi is pursuing her Ph.D. in the Curriculum, Instructional and Science of Learning program at the University at Buffalo. Her research will focus on adolescent math education with a focus on the social and collaborative nature of learning. She is a member of the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics, the Association of Mathematics Teachers of New York State and the Mathematics Education Students and Alumni Association at the University at Buffalo. As a NYS Master Teacher, Ms. Nardozzi is looking forward to joining the Mentoring PLT and working with pre-service and novice teachers who are early in their careers.
