Kristen McCabe earned her BS in Mathematics in Secondary Education and her MS in Mathematics Education from Buffalo State College. She has been in the classroom for 13 years teaching all levels of mathematics. Currently, Mrs. McCabe teaches Algebra II Common Core and Precalclus at West Seneca East Senior High School. She is also an adjunct professor at Erie Community College and participates in the Advanced Studies Program at Erie Community College. In addition to her teaching responsibilities, she is a member of the Association of Mathematics Teachers of NYS, and has served as a varsity soccer coach for several years. Outside of the classroom she is a mother of three beautiful children, an avid skier and snowboarder, runs a small crochet business, and plays soccer as much as she can. She is excited to be part of the NYS Master Teacher Program and looks forward to mentoring new teachers and bringing new teaching and learning practices back to her classroom and her colleagues.
