We invite High School science and mathematics teachers and students to a celebration of science and math at Buffalo State College on Monday, May 19, 2014 from 4:30 -7:30PM. Please save the date and start encouraging student interested in science and math to plan on attending this great event. This announcer will be followed by another with more details.
The three key parts of the event will be: Making and Demonstration booths where students will be able to make or try out science and math, facility tours, and speakers.

New Science Building Facility Tours
Making and Demonstration Booths will be presented by Buffalo State graduate students and Master Teachers from the Western New York area representing all of the sciences. There will be booths where students and teachers will be able to construct and take simple electronic gadgets, air rockets, and other devices. We will have spectacular hands-on demonstrations including a large hover craft, liquid nitrogen experiments and more.
Facility Tours of the new Science building where students and teachers will be able to see up close new experiments in the New Science Building. For instance, equipment/facilities like ….. DNA Sequencing, Confocal Microscope, Electron Microscope, NMR, Planetarium shows and Single Crystal X ray Crystallography.
