By studying mathematical big ideas and how they progress across grade levels this PLT will support teachers in creating a more student driven mathematical learning community. The PLT will use routines, Context for Learning and other professional resources to support teachers in developing mathematical big ideas in their math curriculum. Our work will be connected to the focus and goals of the Buffalo Math Collaborative and the work of Kara Imm.
This PLT will be co-facilitated by Jill Zobel and Lori Chittenden.
