Our accessible, walkable campus is located between two culturally rich sections of Buffalo's West Side: The Elmwood Village Museum District and the Grant Street neighborhood.

Buffalo's evolving waterfront is the place for entertainment and relaxation. It's also home to Buffalo State's Great Lakes Center, which performs important waterway research. 

Buffalo boasts commercial, residential, and institutional buildings from some of the most revered architects in American history. The H.H. Richardson-designed Richardson Olmsted Campus looms large on Buffalo State's landscape.  

Like Buffalo's architecture, the city's lush parks are steeped in history. Designed by landscape architect Frederick Law Olmsted, Delaware Park is located directly across the street from campus and offers a green getaway for relaxation, exercise, and rejuvenation.  

Buffalo's cuisine offers something for every palate. From its world-famous chicken wings to local specialties like beef on weck, the city offers a full menu. 

Everybody knows that Buffalo gets snow in the winter, but most don't realize that the bulk of it falls south of the city proper. That's where world-class skiing, skating, and sledding can be found. Some avoid the winter, Buffalo embraces it!
