Julie Tette earned a Masters in Secondary Science Education in 2003 from SUC Brockport and received her BS in Animal Science from Cornell University in 1997. Julie has taught Living Environment and AP/ SUNY Biology at the high school level for the past 14 years. She has also been an Adjunct professor through Niagara University teaching a Secondary Science Methods course, and is currently an adjunct through NCCC offering SUNY Biology through Lockport HS. Her interests include incorporating different technology in the classroom. Julie is currently involved in a Virtual AP Grant through Erie 1 BOCES developing an online course for AP Biology for NYS. She has been focusing on developing a blended learning classroom and gamifying the classroom through Moodle to improve student motivation and achievement. She is also very interested in promoting STEM at every grade level and has been involved in NYSED's STEM Institute for the past three years. Julie is also an active member of NSTA and STANYS.
